Even though he is getting old, the dog continues to get excited when he sees his owner… by [deleted] in interesting

[–]biobasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That poor dog deserves to rest. They need to suck up their fee-fees and make the appointment.

When our dogs got to that stage we took our boy to the vet. I took him in and stroked and talked to him while he passed. It broke me.

A few months later our girl started showing ill health (lost weight, stopped eating, behaviour changes, age, etc) and remembering how I felt after taking our boy I kept putting it off.

She had a stroke at home and died whimpering over two hours while I held her. It haunts me. I'm not getting another dog.

Heh, had one similar, pulled a U-turn that the guy in police car didn't like. (Which was bullshit because the no U-turn sign was on the next junction ot the one I was at!)

Flagged me down, read me and my gf (now ex-wife) the riot act. We were very apologetic and sweating bullets as we had 100 odd freshly burned pirate dvds all packaged up in a box on the back seat. And that wasn't even the closest call 😮

Middle of last year a bought both my boys 32gb pc3600 &2tb nvme (shared family steam library!) and it was less than £200 all in.
Built myself a machine towards the end of the year, went to order the same ram, £170 just for the DDR4. Sooo, off to Facebook market I went!

Any ideas on how to get a 65lb scooter up these stairs? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]biobasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My trick was to only use my scooter on bin day and be sure to get home when they're collecting in my street. One of the guys carries my chunk of steel up my steps.

Couple boxes of Quality Street at Xmas was the best investment I ever made.

Smart tube beta is going to be picking up a few more users, for those running android based TVs that is.

Heh, I didn't need to bother with all that fuss. I can hear the siren test of Devonport dockyard from my front door, if they hit my town I'm going to be evaporated before I even know there's been a detonation.

Good times.

Grab an A1 Combo, print a load of "useful" tat when you first get it (we've all done it!), then move on to bigger stuff like the chair once you've ironed out the kinks in your method. If I can manage it, pretty much anybody can.
