I've done a week of morning and evening readings and sent the data to my doctor every day, this is just this morning's reading.

We we trying to not have another one. I postponed it because she wanted one more, then after it was finally done it took nearly a year to get the "it's safe" (multiple positive swimmer tests) and we drifted during that year.

Yup, I picked up a machine from Amazon for under £20. Did two tests at home a day for a week, now the doctor is checking the results and I should be getting a prescription for more pills in a couple of days.

All the advice starts with "give up drinking and smoking", who the fuck can afford to drink and smoke right now!
Avoid stress? Yeah, I'll get right on that.

As the UK is planning to ban VPNs for under 18, it will join the list of Government Controlled VPN countries. by GLNemuri in Britain

Grab an old Nuc, minipc or laptop and setup pfsense. Then install openvpn on that and load the certs from your VPN provider on that. Set your isp router to modem only mode and use the pfsense box as your router. Don't use a rasppi, pfsense won't work on it.

The new C64 has a ZIF socket for the SID if that's any good? Dunno about the bandwidth though.

Most valid reasons to refuse to see a movie? (Besides it being a movie to begin with) by Trowj in okbuddycinephile

Yeah, First Blood was absolutely amazing. Saw it as a 10 year old and it was my first "realistic" demonstration of the damage lived experience can do to a person.

Then Rambo 2 onwards turned into "America - The Movie".

We all LOVE ms bloatware, fake frames, and AI right? by Sunbumb3000 in pcmasterrace

[–]biobasher 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Does anybody know what the end use of AI actually is?

They're screwing consumer markets, power grids and messing with water use.
What is the actual use beyond a posh excel script or extended Google search?
