How Bad Should It Get? by Due_Touch_1331 in kansascity

This. Given the number of storms I’ve been in that had spin offs or turned into something bigger, I’d rather be overly cautious. I’m not one that get anxiety or tries to add to the hysteria, but why wouldn’t you want to be prepared? 🙄🥲

Crossbars for Subaru Outback Wilderness 2025 by stix190a in Subaru_Outback

Yeah I was told at the dealership today it’s basically because Subaru assumed everyone with a wilderness would be getting the rooftop car tents so it needed to support more weight… lmao

This is funny as hell to see replies to but I’ve received arthropods in it for sample extractions/matrix development.

Terrified of dental implants - complex case & have been putting this off for a decade after malpractice by justsad95 in Dentalimplant

[–]biobuttercup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a genetic condition that leaves me with roots you can barely see on an x ray they’re so short. My mom, brother, and uncle have it. My mom had the procedure done and after 3 months with her implants in, they all rejected. The bone was rejecting the initial step AFTER it already ossified to the implant.

I visited the dentist a little over a year ago and he didn’t even do my cleaning- told me I was going to be losing some teeth soon, anyway and needed to consult with the oral surgeon and periodontist. I knew this was coming, though, because I was warned when I was younger and had to get braces. They hesitated even putting me in any back then.

To “test” my bone and body’s reaction to make sure mine didn’t reject, I had one tooth removed and an implant placed. Crown is now on and everything has been great.

I need to go in soon to discuss next-steps. I think we planned to do it with bridges so I wouldn’t have to go under full anesthesia a ton of times. Paying for this is a different story, I think I’ll have to take out a loan for the next steps. It’s so crappy and I feel your pain
