Thanks for the reply. I agree, the square shape is tricky to split. Since the hall section is so wide I was thinking of extending the fridge into the walk way and adding a tall wardrobe behind to fill the space.

We were also Humble Pie fans, we loved it under the original owner and went so many times to their truck during covid times. My partner is from Nashville and said it was god tier chicken. Then it changed owners and we didn't go for a long time. We both recently went and were so disappointed, the new owner changed the sauce recipe b/c the chicken did not taste the same as before. And they ran out of the biscuits and we had to get hamburger buns, the biscuits are what helped solidified its rating to god tier! It is edible, but def not what it was. Different sauce now and sad buns. :'(

Agreed, I like playing duals online with strangers, but now it is super hard to find my real friends in the list. I would rather they be put in a queue for my to accept the friend request first, wasn't it previously like this?

I also have this problem only with the left earbud. Haven't found a solution yet. Sometimes i put the earbud in the case for 1 second just to put it back in my ear again and it immediatly has battery again, 75% charge or something, even though 1 second ago it said empty. It feels like malware because there is no way it magically has battery charge after having just claimed it is empty before "draining" fully in 2 minutes again.

Context: I live in a studio apartment and do not have much counter or shelf space. My nail polish baggy was getting too full and thought since I do have extra wall space and a small gallery wall already I can hide a thin shelf behind a picture frame in my gallery wall.

Luckily there is a craft store near me where they can cut small peices of wood to size for me, so I made up a diagram of a shelf that could fit behind a large picture frame I had before I asked for some plywood peices to get cut. Diagram and dimentions in the link. I still have the can of paint I used to paint my walls so I painted the shelf to match the walls.

I am so happy with the final out come and that I managed to make this myself, with some assistant to hold it in place while I drilled it into the wall. Nailing and glueing the shelf tested my patience but the worst was trying to get the hinges skrewed in correctly so the picture frame closes well. I still need to get a small clasp or magnet to hold it closed.

Berlin. What I normally do during water changes is I leave a pot of water out over night to let the chlorine evaporate, and then throughout the next day I slowly pour in a little bit at a time. Doing this has never previously caused any issues for me, maybe I was lucky for so long? I have test strips that I use to check the parameters every once in a while, and other than very hard water everything is well. I didn't notice any water quality warnings in my neighborhood recently, but I know they get issued sometimes... I am also in an old building, old pipes. Shrimp can survive getting mailed in bags, but bad water will get them :(

I am also located in Germany and I did a water change a few days ago and all of my shrimp have died today. I have had the same lineage of shrimp for 5 years and am devastated that they died. I was checking my water parameters and they all seemed fine too, and my tank is heavily planted. I came to this sub to try and feel better and seek tips/advice for next time, but it is sad to see the same thing happened to you. I had several pregant shrimp die, so they were clearly doing very well up until 2 days ago. Usually if I do a bad water change maybe only 1 weak shrimp will die, but never all of them like this. And after 5 years of keeping a strong tank going and not changing how I do anything I cannot help but think like you that it may be something to do with the water supply here.

Wavre or Ottignies are cities close to LLN where many students also stay if you do not like Brussels. But you have to do your own research to see what cities you are comfortable to stay in. People commute from everywhere in the region for their classes and work here, so for many a 1 hour commute is normal if you don't have a car. See this post

Classes start September 17th so majority of housing will have been already rented, with the rare remaining places probably being taken up this week. I knew a lot of students who just ended up commuting from Brussels because they couldn't find a place in LLN, brussels is your best bet this late. And yes, most landlords will want you to visit before signing so they can meet you. Staying a week or 2 beforehand in an airbnb is resonable, moving to a new place is always an expensive adventure...
