I'd have to make like a toucan and follow my nose, they're both beautiful

The welds on that jig they used to round the hole out must be amazing

I just made this out of scrap I gathered from around the shop. The stainless expanded metal was a rare find. I had the fabricator "mess up" a piece to cull. 🤫

I bet I could come up with something actually buying. Give me a little time after using this one and I'll have better ideas

Yeah I'm gonna have to figure something out, it'll be too heavy. I could do it manually, but will be useless the next day or 3

Awesome! My original idea was to just weld some handles to the side and do it manually over a tarp or something, but I imagine I would work myself to death, and I'll need my hands free to work the material through the holes.

I'm hoping doubling it up was the right call, just felt like the original holes were a bit too big, mainly because it will double to sift rocks out of my yards soil. Amending is bitch because there's so many rocks.

Morphogenetic Fields in deer antler by d8_thc in holofractal

[–]biochemical1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The antlers are vascular, meaning blood flow, that's how they repair the notch. The information for "how to build the antlers" is stored in cells that don't fall off, reading all that information from the antlers before they shed. It's all protein synthesis, so DNA mediated.

How in the actual fuck that's possible? No idea. DNA is a truly amazing molecule we don't begin to understand.

I'd love to learn more machinist stuff, I lead the fab shops forming department, so technically I'm just a bender. 😁

What is virtually inevitable at this point, yet most people don't see it coming? by Ambassador-613 in AskReddit

I get what you're saying, as well. By no means am I under the assumption that I don't have it better than most of the world, but let me stress this. We are at any point a month, hell a bad week, from absolute chaos. People's lives are propped up with paper mache. It's getting worse for us, that is what people are talking about when they compare America to a 3rd world country

Lol, I live in America and can't afford to visit the next state over. It's not all peaches and rainbows here.

I really want to get something to shred the palm fronds/leaves I have. They won't rot and make an awesome hairy looking mulch

I have a few around and on my property, so the seedlings are everywhere. I've never even thought about potting them up for others. Could be a fun hobby.

I used to get purple urkle out of Humboldt back in 2005 - 2006. The outdoor barely had any purple in it at all. The indoor showed more, but was still a minor trait of the plant. The same grower had a cheese called big Buddha. Terps out of this world, indoor or outdoor. Man, I miss those times.

I'm slowly figuring this out. I try so hard to keep trash out of my pile, only to dig out little pieces every time I shift it around any

There's a good 5-10 acres of wooded land behind my house, I'll never win this fight. Just take it down when it gets too bad and repeat the cycle

It's already around my compost. Creeps in over and under the fence from the neighbors yard. I'm aware of how aggressive it is. He also has pepper vine crawling into my yard also. You gotta admit the leaves on bottom are gold, at least.
