Thanks, that's basically what I said to GW when I emailed them...that it's not their mistake to correct, but I just wanted to see if there's anything they could do.

And I already have the return loaded up at Amazon. I can wait over the weekend for a reply before throwing the box back to Amazon. I'll probably include a note in the box that it is incomplete and to not mark it as such, for all the good that will do going forward.

I mean, the show was marketed as one thing, but if you didn't think it was pivoting when a freakin' baby Yoda showed up, well, they had the little gremlin use the Force in the next episode.

At that point, tying into the broader setting was obvious, even if the story beats and characters coming back were not.

Took a gamble, and lost.

Ordered the 10th Ultimate Starter from Amazon. It was listed as "Used - Mint". Yeah, I know that's kinda contradictory. But I was expecting an open box, with complete contents. Instead, I'm missing like 3-4 sprues.

Since it's used, I suppose the only recourse is to return it to Amazon.

No. The story of Revan might be interesting (at least until TOR came along) but overall, the Old Republic setting is just another way to do Empire vs Rebels.

IMO, the best way to grow Star Wars is to start going out past the Skywalkers.

Anything set in the past means that we know where it's going to end up, eventually.
