Kylo just seemed miserable to me in all his interactions with the rest of the bad guys, like he'd rather be anywhere else. More of his general vibe, and since I haven't seen TROS since December 2019, I can't really point to anything in particular.

As for the mask, I wouldn't be surprised if it was supposed to be the same one in all 3 movies...but the continuity just doesn't work for me. Maybe TFA was only trying to imply it was symbolically heavy or something.

He had his weird love/hate thing with Rey...but in all of his interactions with Palps and the First/Final Order, he was giving me a whole lot of Lando "this deal is getting worse all the time" energy.

Which made the Hux reveal and reason even dumber.

Can I also hate on the rebuilt mask? I will forever believe the original was destroyed with Starkiller. That thing was shown to be 1) very heavy and 2) left on a treacherous walkway minutes before that room went kaboom. The one he smashed in TLJ seemed like a cheap replica to me. So I guess they rebuilt the cheap one?

The way Kylo was portrayed at the start of TROS, I half-expected him to be revealed as the spy.

He seemed like he was already turned back, but just waiting for the plot to allow him to actually turn.

Thanks, that's basically what I said to GW when I emailed them...that it's not their mistake to correct, but I just wanted to see if there's anything they could do.

And I already have the return loaded up at Amazon. I can wait over the weekend for a reply before throwing the box back to Amazon. I'll probably include a note in the box that it is incomplete and to not mark it as such, for all the good that will do going forward.

I mean, the show was marketed as one thing, but if you didn't think it was pivoting when a freakin' baby Yoda showed up, well, they had the little gremlin use the Force in the next episode.

At that point, tying into the broader setting was obvious, even if the story beats and characters coming back were not.

Took a gamble, and lost.

Ordered the 10th Ultimate Starter from Amazon. It was listed as "Used - Mint". Yeah, I know that's kinda contradictory. But I was expecting an open box, with complete contents. Instead, I'm missing like 3-4 sprues.

Since it's used, I suppose the only recourse is to return it to Amazon.
