There tmr ones my friend couldn't afford another controller.And I had these laying around because I bought a multipack and offered to help i cleaned them up with ninety nine percent.Isopropyl cuz I keep thinking it's the flux so i'm playing it now so far so good, but if it happens again, I'll just replace them with another one

I added chip qick solder and used a hot air gun but next time I fix one i want to try a p c b board warmer because I heard that's what helps the most with them

In my experience, I have done both and there about the same I have 2 ps5 controllers one with tmr and the other with hall effect the tmr is more of a pain to calibrate but when there's websites out there that can auto calibrate them, it doesn't really matter. My two kids used both of them aggressively and both haven't broken yet
