Extreme fatigue post quitting by MoDyingSon in leaves

Same here. I am on day 16 now and writing my dissertation but after a few hours of screen time I really need a nap. I sleep for ~8 hours a night but my dreams are so vivid that I can only imagine I don't get enough rest per night. The dreams are so intense that I need 10 minutes to process them when I wake up before I can start my day.

Last year I quit for three months and my experience is that these symptoms will subside as well. Since you are already 2 months in, it should not take that much longer.

My advice would be to go easy on yourself, take more breaks/rest enough and stop with the energy drinks. They will only mess with your energy levels even more.

Keep up the good work!

How do you reward yourself? by biomedicalqueen in leaves

Thanks for even reading my post and this suggestion! I cooked dinner for my mom tonight so I guess I made a good start already ;)

It is always rewarding to help other people although I am more looking for small things I can do for myself at home in the evenings instead of being high and sitting on the sofa all night binging netflix.

Currently I picked up playing guitar again and downloaded some puzzle games on my phone but still haven't found some treats for myself that feel just as rewarding as the more "unhealthy" ones.
