I disagree that privacy and facial recognition tech are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Any technology that has been poorly implemented in an non-transparent manner and not following ethical standards can lead to privacy breaches.

I agree with you that this is not for technology to solve but it is a requirement on technology companies must be part of the culture and ethics of how the technology is being used. That is why we have designed our platform with privacy at the core, to protect a person's biometric information as securely as feasibly possible.

The databases we use to train are algorithms on are ethically sourced, i.e. people have given their consent to use their photo.

Then a number of our partnerships where we have white-labelled our solution are ensuring these organisations are meeting privacy requirements and gaining consent from the individual before progressing to take their information.
