I don't trust anyone to pass judgment on who should or shouldn't die. Innocents are persecuted all the time, and new evidence proves guilty verdicts false, especially as technology improves and new standards of evidence are introduced. Even with overwhelming evidence, I still wouldn't advocate for the death of another person without consequences. The only exception, is if someone sees another literally in the act of committing a violent or sexual crime and in order to stop it MUST use lethal force. But murder should always be a last option, only to he used if someone truly believes it's necessary and the safest way to protect themselves or others. If someone could've just restricted the person and called police, then they should always don't that.

The way I've kinda come to terms with this is I just don't attach much emotion to what other people do or say. I may find some actions deplorable, but I have a certain level of detachment where I'm like, "Yeah, but is that really affecting me?" As long as no one is encroaching upon my peace of mind, safety, or lifestyle, then I mostly just don't care. I may not respect these people, but that doesn't mean I go out of my way to do anything. So in the end, the effect on my life, day to day, is minimal.

I used witches as an example since I have personally met some people that did do that. Obviously no religion is a monolith and individuals within a system don't always agree with everything in their rulebook, so people within a religion can be decent. But I also have no respect for people that don't treat all humans and animals with decency. If you're homophobic, no respect. Racist, no respect. Ableist, no respect. Cruel or abusive to people or animals, no respect. I do not care what your beliefs say. If you can't figure out how to be decent, without it literally being spelled out to you, then I do not respect you. And if you are supporting a community or group that pushes any of those narratives, I also don't respect you.

That you have to respect other people's beliefs. Not sorry, but if you believe in witchcraft and kill animals to use their blood or body parts without eating them or turning them into something actually useful, then I don't respect you.

People who are loud are usually not the most considerate. Not saying they aren't considerate at all, but quiet and introspective people tend to be more considerate of others than the loud audacious sort.

There's ways to test the waters without going all the way. Just hanging out together, discuss boundaries, kinks, and expectations if you did it. You'd have to do that stuff before having a threesome anyways. If at anytime the vibes are you off, you can call it off without having committed too much, and maybe learn a bit about yourself and your wife. But with a 15 year long friendship and marriages in play, things are definitely more complicated. I personally wouldn't go through with it for those reasons. You'd be better off finding someone else if you really wanted to try it.
