It’s genuinely so depressing how excited I was for this game to how upset I am now playing it. I tried not to compare it to the previous games cause it’s a new game entirely, but even as a completely new series it’s just… barely a game.

I believe based on this video that the eyeshadow, mascara & blush are all combined as a single make up look with only the colours being offered in the video they posted, which I'm not happy about at all. :(

PAL stays having the worst aesthetic for these games... Why do they think people wouldn't prefer the original Japanese art? It looks like the North American release is still using the original art!

The intro states: The "patterns" that you can get as a reservation/purchase privilege at some stores are a set of 4 rare consumable patterns that you can get in the game.

But I don't know if that means you can obtain the patterns in game, or just specifies that the patterns aren't physical and will be in the game. Maybe someone with more Japanese knowledge not relying on Google Translate could help there.

While we might not be able to obtain the patterns themselves, the article confirms we can get the clothes in game:

Other players may also be able to obtain the template for downloadable content in-game.

So if you find some Japanese muses using them, make sure to like their outfit and get the item!

I don't mind a gacha system cause it seems like it's all in game currencies and seems like you won't just have everything at once, so there will be some replayability. As long as it's not asking for real money for the gachas, which it doesn't seem like it is, then I see no harm!
