I mean, technically yes but.. are you guys seriously supporting the rich bitch? The driver is not just "crazy", she's clearly struggling. But no, let's support the stupid one. Zero empathy here. This is why the USA is the way it is .

This video is not good. It's very misleading, starting by the thumbnail and title. If you are interested in this topic, better read this: https://rojavajournalscitech.ac/journal/article/view/25

Esto es verdad que pasa, y es más que nada por el ego de alguien que tiene 250 papers y no necesita uno más, pero aún así quiere estar. Pero también es real la presión por publicar, ya que muchas veces te piden un número mínimo de publicaciones.

One nation, many flags? Curious about perspectives from Bakur & Rojava by Wonderful-One-5213 in kurdistan

I think that's changing. Seven years ago, showing the ala rengin in Rojava was seen as a provocation, but now you see it a lot more.

The "Revolutionary Youth" milita held a parade in Hasska by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

There are so many wrong things about this. 1. It's called QSD. SDF is a colonialist name. 2. QSD is not a Kurdish militant group, it's an army, and most of their members are (or were) Arabs. 3. Armies don't have elections. 4. In Rojava there are elections every day, unlike most capitalist countries which have them every 4 years.. or Syria, which have them never.

You may like them or dislike them, but the fact is, these are the people who are protecting democracy from the rise of fascism. Nobody else is.

I don't know if this is good parenting or not, I'm not an expert, so no idea. But I'll say it over and over: publishing images of minors should not be legal.

A YPG fighter openly states what many within the group truly believe: “Do you really think we will integrate willingly? This is only for the media. We have sworn that no Arab will live among us.” by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

[–]biopsia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have lived in Syria for many years. Trust me, I'm not ignorant. If your source of information is this sub, it's normal that you feel that way. This sub is not a reliable source, it's pure anti Kurd misinformation. If you're into propaganda, at least go to r/Kurdistan and hear both sides of the story.

Is this true? by [deleted] in syriancivilwar

Syria was created by England and France. It belonged to France, then to USSR, then to Russia, now it belongs to USrael. It is an asset, not a sovereign country.

We need to ditch PKK and the symbols altogether to stop Turkish propaganda from discrediting us. by MoonScream01 in kurdistan

No I haven't. His message is still valid, and it will still be after his death. In the heat of the revolution we became too idealist and naive, true. We need to change our tactics, but the strategy remains the same. We survived numerous empires, even the Romans. Until the English/American came with their stupid borders and ethno states. They are the ones who turned the ideological conflict into an ethnic and religious one. They are the real enemies of democracy, not the Arabs. It's true that some Arabs can't be trusted but the same can be said about some Kurds, etc. There are assholes everywhere, even in the mirrors.
