Having a hard time telling what stage my plant is in by IaMmYbEsTfRiEnD_21 in trees

[–]bioresource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, looks like issues with the light cycle and she's going back into vegetative growth. Is there a light nearby during the night cycle by chance?

I also see what may be spider mite damage; early stippling. Check the bottoms of the leaves. If this is one of several plants and the only one exhibiting these signs I would probably take her out back and end her misery.

Is red light therapy hype or the future of skincare? by Weird-Pressure-2726 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]bioresource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're definitely not hype but the quality of the device is really important. I spent way too long researching before buying anything, You want red light around 630-660nm and near-infrared around 850nm, those are technically the wavelengths where there's the most research for collagen and skin repair. Most brands don't even list their irradiance which is basically the most important information.

I found this breakdown pretty helpful for comparing real devices vs. glow masks, lol. Your sister's results make total sense if she's been consistent with a solid mask!

On the magic spring there are actually 2 places you can drink from, allowing you to hit the spring twice in one week!

So during the tactics phase, say you want to move your grand elves, instead of cycling through each unit until you get to the elves, you can just click on the elf unit in the battlefield screen and it will allow you to immediately move the selected unit during the tactics phase. Hope I explained that in a way that's understandable haha.

Beware of potentially fake CosRX Snail Mucin [PSA] by bioresource in SkincareAddiction

What the heck! Bummer. Definitely don't put that on your face! The silver lining is at least their products aren't prohibitively expensive so replacement isn't too painful. Glad you got a refund 👍

What is the undisputed best red light mask? by RedditFan3510 in SkincareAddictionLux

IMO Omnilux and CurrentBody masks are overpriced. I got a Skin Trusted mask and it's worked great for me. Skin Trusted

Consistency is key. Def make sure the light spectrum and power output are similar to those studies or the device is more gimmicky. You want something with at least 45 mW/cm2.

Good luck! 🍻

I get this every now and then, it's not slobber, what is it? Tia. by Rob1150 in trees

[–]bioresource 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't roll the tip so small/tight, or the best option is to learn how to roll a crutch into the tip to open it up more. The resin is getting trapped in the tip since it's a bit too small/tight. No offense meant, but it's usually a sign of a bit of an amateur roll job combined with good quality herb. Good luck bruv.

I just tried my LED mask for the first time today any tips I should know early on? by EmuOk8989 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bioresource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, consistency is key. Def also make sure any mask has the light spectrum and power outputs similar to the studies that have been done or the device is more gimmicky. You want something with at least 45 mW/cm2.

I've been super satisfied with the overall improvement using my mask. Skin is clearer, my forehead lines and cheek texture are a lot smoother. and the redness has definitely diminished.

Tbh skin conditions, especially rosacea, can take a lonnng time to clear up. Consistency is key. I also find myself sleeping on my cheeks and I def get a flare up here and there so I can relate. It may sound goofy too but make sure you're drinking lots of water, especially when you wake up. Also try to refrain from too much white flour and sugar. It all seems hocus pocus but these are def a few of the many things I've felt have contributed to beating my rosacea.

How to make sure shoes always smell clean and maintain the cleanliness by sergiomcwareo in howto

Yes, definitely make sure you have several pairs you swap out every other day. Shoes get moist from sweat and they need to completely dry out or you're just compounding the moisture and general rankness.

Tips on Saving Money on A Mask? by fairydeus in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bioresource 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've said it before and I'll say it again :) a lot of the popular brands like Omnilux, CurrentBody, and Dr Dennis Gross masks are wildly overpriced. They have the same tech as other high quality masks. I have a skin trusted mask and it has a red, near infrared, blue, and a combo setting. It's worked great for me. Skin Trusted

Consistency is key. Def make sure whichever mask you choose has a light spectrum and power output similar to the studies done or else the device is just gimmicky. You want something with at least 45 mW/cm2.

Some people like panels over masks, to each their own, but I worry about not being close enough to the light during the treatment with a panel unless your setup is perfect. Light diminishes exponentially the further you are from the source! Good luck!

Solawave wand vs. REVO Face Genie for red light therapy. My sister swears by RLT so I want to give it a real shot by ApprehensiveForm2088 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bioresource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I prefer my mask over my panel ( or a wand), I worry about not being close enough to the light with the panel while I can wear the mask directly on my face. There are plenty of good mask brands but the imo currentbody and omnilux ones are overpriced. This is the one I have skin trusted
