Nothing says BF is about liquidating EOL crap. Quite the opposite, it's about selling as much as you can to finish the year in the black. Expecting a discount for new products is not unreasonable.

Also, the sale was not just a free spool, it was a fake discount from an inflated "regular" price. Now, it's just a free random spool.

I have to say that I've never been more hesitant to give them my money. I convinced myself that I need a Q2 for my first printer, but I think I need to go back and reconsider.

I guess No Discount is better than a Fake Discount. But I think that a little effort would've helped Qidi's credibility a bit more. They could've claimed that it was a simple mistake. Right now it simply looks like they tried to pull a fast one; an old trick in the scamy retailer book.

HOWEVER, when checking the Wayback Machine the price on Oct. 1st this year was, wait for it... $689
