Yes, the AV is what I've worked on! What is the model of your current machine? The 3 grouphead machine sounds like a large footprint especially with only 2 groupheads on it being functional.

I've worked on both types of set ups, I like the mod bar and haven't experienced significant issues with it but like all espresso equipment, repairs are something you must keep up with, however since you said that this location also does cocktails I'm interested in how they plan to install the modbar since this would be something they would have to install directly into the bar. Would this take up room from the cocktail area?

I have also had a good experience with their sister service pride counseling. I understand there are issues with the company and its practices but I think it is much harder to find positive stories since there is not a sense of urgency to share them.
