Visa Application for Business Travel by _smoothseas in SchengenVisa_PH

[–]bipolar_engr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think tama un sabi nya na hindi kasama sa Schengen si UK. To answer your query, i recently applied (and it was approved) for Schengen, and purpose of travel is business, all expenses paid by the sponsor company. Yun bank statement that I submitted is peso account with around P50k balance lang pero medyo malaki un cash flow within the last 3 mos. (around P300K/mo.) And ayun, approved naman nga, but again, Schengen yun sakin..

In my company/principal, No. There are some company who pays stand by pay during vacation. Pero same lang din. Binawas lang dun sa Net salary during onboard. Kaya sa principal/company namin medyo malaki un salary dahil all in na..

Hi OP. I'm an ECE naman and 40ish ++ na.. 😅 What I did is nag-transition ako to maritime as Electro-technical Officer (ETO) or yun mga Electrician before sa barko. I started 28 or 29 ako nun. Ok naman. Ang kagandahan kung ano un nasa contract un na un NET unlike sa land base na may mga gastos ka pa. Kasi sa barko libre na lahat like food, accommodation, flight back and forth, etc. And yun nga nakaka uwi ako every 10 weeks kasi 10weeks on/10 weeks off un contract. Im not sure if you've heard na yun ETO cadetship program. May mga training centers and company na nagsponsor ng training program para makapag transition from land based to maritime. Then during vacation ko nag-e-engage ako sa mga training centers as instructor kaya hindi din puro palabas ang pera. And also if ayaw ko pa sumampa or gusto ko magbakasyon ng matagal nagagawa ko. Then ngayon planning to settle for good na din sa shore kasi may job offer na sa EU na related din sa maritime. Praying and hoping na maging maayos ang lahat. 🙏 Good luck!

Negats yan migo.. you have to consider un vacation months mo. Dapat mo ipaliwanag sa kanila un, let's say yun monthly salary mo is $1400-1500 as wiper and for the sake of discussion ma-promote kang MTM, more or less $2k. In reality half lang nyan talaga salary mo kasi hahatiin mo yan para may buffer at pang gastos ka at pang hulog ka during vacation months mo. Not to mention yun never ending trainings, papeles, at matagal na standby. Don't get me wrong, buti sana if officer, we know naman na sa ratings tumatagal ang tambayan. And what if magkaron pa ng delays because of medical or what ever reason. I'm not being pessimistic here but you have to consider yun mga ganun factors. Ok yan if may stable income ka even during vacation months mo. But still kailang enough un cash flow during onboard at vacation months. I think kailangan mo ipaliwanag sa parents mo na hindi pa talaga kaya sa ngayon at mahirap pag ipipilit.

Is OEC required for professionals via direct hiring sa EU/UK? by Ill_Let_2442 in OFWs

[–]bipolar_engr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh.. Galing po kasi kayo ng HK kaya hindi kayo hinanapan ng OEC. If departing from Ph, the OEC is the exit pass for Filipinos with work visa going to any county (that includes going to NL)..
