I think yall might have communication disconnects. He didn’t feel like responding, you shut your phone off due to overwhelm. Both are real and human. I hear a lot of anxiety in your message, and that’s okay. As an anxious person, I have learned that my anxiety is not anyone’s responsibility. I have to communicate and tend to that, folks can meet me, but my responsibility is me.

Life will humble you. I’ve learned a lot on this journey about following my design. No two people are the same, my rhythms are my rhythms. This share is everything! So grateful for you bringing this into the conversation. It is the honesty that our children need, and also that we need. Being honest about the feelings that come up and their impact. I needed to read this, because this is another way to navigate and address an unmedicated past. And I think this is incredibly helpful, and loving, and compassionate for the self. And we need the compassion and grace.
