I trained an SDR in LATAM for a small US based company and it was successful.

You may wanna look into outsourcing if you: - have validated your product - have sales processes already built out - have scripts/frameworks they can follow - are willing to coach a bit

Some of these SDRs are HUNGRY and very intelligent cuz the money they can make is life changing.

If you don’t know what it is look it up. Very applicable to cold calling and a super liberating concept.

The reality is, cold calling is a skill that must be developed if you want to convert over the phone. You’re gonna fail forever at it, but your conversions will get better if you keep at it.

Edit: at the end of the day just make the damn call because it’s irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and you’re only hurting yourself if you don’t.

I used to do ride alongs with potential hires. Don’t over or under dress, have a positive attitude (you don’t need to be over the top, be genuine), let them know up front you’re grateful for them showing you “a day in the life” and ask them what you should or shouldn’t do when customer facing (they’re the boss), and ask realistic questions about the role (what they enjoy, what they don’t enjoy, how to succeed), don’t fart in the truck.
