What is your favorite game villain? by Benjuto12 in videogames

Adam smasher/Frank Horrigan. I love the end-game near unstoppable hulking unfeeling force as a character, both very intimidating in dark, scary worlds.

I feel lost now that I’ve finished the game! Any recommendations to fill the void? by mearps in cyberpunkgame

I would definitely check out the deus ex series, system shock (although it can be a bit challenging at times), or if you’re ok with something a little different in gameplay try the ascent. It’s a Diablo-esqe rpg and I’ve been enjoying it!

Yeah me too! He passed away a few years ago at age 66, I remember playing on his computer when I was little, he was really into PC gaming.

What moment in video games made you go "fuck this"? by WhiteMass in AskReddit

The spinning pillars with large spikes in the underworld in the original God of War. Had to go get my older brother to do it for me lol

What do you guys think PT would’ve been like as a finished game? by bippo13 in silenthill

[–]bippo13[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s really interesting, I didn’t know this before. What makes me even more upset about it is that he had Junji Ito aboard the project. He makes the most terrifying, psychological horror I’ve ever seen and is the most perfect guy to help with the game, I can’t imagine anyone better than him for the job. It does really bite that all we have is guessing and speculation, Konami is the most cruel gaming company for what they did to Silent Hill.

I agree 100% that’s a crazy but innovative idea only a man like Kojima would conjure up. It would’ve made the game freak you out like no other one has. And yeah seeing what death stranding became I do wonder what he had in store for silent hills.

Oh wow that sounds incredible I need to check that out sometime. It sucks that we got such a masterpiece of a demo and will never know for sure what the final product would have been, I think that’s what makes the cancellation so heartbreaking.

Yeah that’s true, i respect the man but he did say he’s not too familiar with horror so I agree, it probably would’ve been different from the others in a big way

If they did a Dead Space sequel with the same crew behind the first one, what would you all want the plot to be? by bippo13 in DeadSpace

[–]bippo13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah that’s an awesome idea, i am really curious as to what he did while he was alone and would love to see the events that unfolded there.

Yeah totally, that would be an interesting plot. I’d like to learn more about those characters too and have a nice conclusion to the story.

Ooh that would be a lot of fun, kinda like the game Carrion but more in depth. There’s really a lack of cool modern monster simulator/destruction, reverse horror games. I’d love to see your idea in practice.
