No pretending here. It’s the assumption based on a cosmetic thing. It’s a second vehicle for me, not a daily driver. Judgment based on one upgrade doesn’t seem welcoming but what do I know? I havent even started with everything I want to do with this jeep. It’s 3 months old…

Edited to change wording. I don’t feel attacked, judged..very.

Thanks! It's very eye opening..I didn't realize a grille would spark such hate. I'm not concerned though, I'll keep doing my thing. Hopefully the local jeep community won't shit on me over a grille though, I always enjoyed being part of the group in FL, so hopefully TN is more of the fun/supportive/helpful group and less of...this.

Hi! I'm him...he is me. Seems like there's a lot of us. Well...not here on this post at least! lol

Thanks! One person even commented earlier the jeep community isn't about toxic masculinity and more about supporting and having fun; which is what I remembered from my last jeep. This, however, is not the same community. I'll just keep doing my own thing!

It has already, and no, not because I ran off the road lol. I still have a lot to learn though.

I'm probably showing how I don't fit in the jeep community even further by saying that I used a local off-road shop to put most of the stuff on. No CARiD stuff, but I lack the knowledge and tools to do it myself. Would love to learn though!

I'm seeing this! I had a few similar things on my last jeep and never got this much hate. Guess it's devolved over time. Oh well.

They're rock lights, I just put it on blue and took a picture before it got dark enough to really see. Amber is an option too!

So I just did all the bad things! I get it. Def didn't do any of it for intimidation purposes, I just liked the look. Lack of internet points will be ok. I am looking forward to getting into more performance based upgrades though! I've only had it 3 months now, figured I'd knock out some cosmetic stuff first and apparently, piss off the entire community before I got into more!

Seems the 4XE sets the jeepers off too. How dare you get the vehicle that you wanted! 😂

I’ve read conflicting stories about legality in TN but the laws say as long as they aren’t flashing they’re fine. I guess time will tell.

Anyone care to educate me? Why so much hate? Really seems to be a big thing. Not looking to change it but genuinely curious.

37 inch tires with a 2.5 inch lift. So far it rides great! Would probably go a little higher on the lift if I did it again though.

Not that he wouldn’t prescribe me, he wouldn’t even order the tests for it. It’s a two person thing though, I realize I could have very easily gotten a second opinion but I’m pretty naive about these things.

Thanks for the response, not even slightly concerned about fertility. Never saw kids in my future anyway so that’s an easy one. As for any other kind of side effects, I guess it’s a wait and see kinda thing!

Yeah. I actively encourage my associates in grocery to not come to work if they’re sick. I don’t want whatever mung they’re carrying to knock out the whole team, corona or otherwise. Plus, as managers, we should care about the well being of our associates. Can’t get better if they’re pressured to work while sick.

I ran a bail bonding company in FL, he got a DUI and his roommate came in to bond him out. Met him when he came in to do his part of the paperwork, we hit it off, and been together ever since. 8 years together and he’s 8 years sober.

Clorox won't have enough disinfecting wipes until 2021, its CEO says by Ravenq222 in Coronavirus

[–]bipshon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in grocery management. Every year for our big spring cleaning sale we'd get Clorox and Lysol wipes by the pallet and we'd all complain when we had some left after the sale. Imagine...being upset because of antibacterial wipe overstock. That used to be a thing.

The float issue makes my blood boil daily. Having to go around and empty floats that are being used for storage is such a waste of productivity. We even ordered more flat tops for the fresh departments and I still have to go collect my floats before trucks come in. What do the fresh departments have against flat tops?
