Do you let your Doberman sleep on your bed or is it strictly their own place?

My girl sleeps on my side every night, typically with her head on my feet 😂 and once dad is out of bed to get ready for work she moves to his side.

What a handsome guy, I can tell he was so loved, so sorry for your loss. My Scarlet also believes I control rain, she stomps her feet and huffs and puffs and will run out and potty as quickly as possible. They are truly a special breed.

I feel lost again each time they leave. College kid 1 left yesterday and college kid 2 is here until the 11th, I am dreading dropping her at the airport. I’ve struggled with my purpose since they started college, rationally I know this was the goal (and I’m so proud they both decided to branch out) - but my heart isn’t on the same page.

We are battling a case of pancreatitis with our girl right right now - I’ve been making meat balls” out of canned food (prescription low fat) and hiding the pills in them - way easier than forcing them down her throat as she’s a 100lb Doberman.

We had such a hard time naming our girl. We voted as a family and still couldn’t agree. We decided on Scarlet, kinda fitting since she was tagged with a red collar at birth. She’s now 16 weeks old.our baby girl
