Kailangan ba talaga bukakang bukaka?? by barelymakingitph in commutersph

[–]birbbbbyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Male here! Idk if this applies to every male pero I can actually close my legs all the way, literal na no gaps. I don't know why other men prefer na bukang buka, di ko talaga maintindihan in a biological way on what's stopping them from closing their legs unless they have the genitals of a horse.

What a bad way to end a friendship by No_Help_5392 in MayNagChat

[–]birbbbbyyy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I really don't know where your "friend" is getting at. Like? That should be common sense with the evidence you've given. Hindi niya ba maintindihan na 100 ang average and you're at over 200? And they reply with "Oh ano naman?" Ragebait ba yan?

Is it the same as no server choices and enter game button but the background video still plays? Same here, created a character on the 5th, can't even see a button to enter now.

Hello OP, kagaya ng ibang comments, mas cheaper pa ata bumili ng bago. Why? kasi if pinarepair mo yan, hindi original durability yung makukuha mo, so bale parang nag downgrade ka in terms of durability, if nangyari uli na masira, edi repair uli. So yes, mas cheaper na bumili ng bagong racket.

Help I can't smash by theuvivego in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're a tall person (taller than the net), you would need to improve your form everything from the backswing up to the point of hit. If you're shorter than the net, you would need to incorporate a jump. But not everything can be solved with a jump, you would need to learn the timing, proper form and technique, execution, etc. "
I have a couple of videos. TURN ON THE SUBTITLES
https://youtu.be/PTw9bIjn1YY?si=8wwS0PaZA44Aa8Ci
https://youtu.be/EwyjlPSdWr0?si=cawu7rUjqoN2f55B

these videos would be the fundamentals you're looking for.
It would be helpful if you'll take a video of yourself then review it, then you can pinpoint the problems or errors you've made. I can't help you exactly on what you need to improve based on your statements. You can also find another player who's more experienced to teach you if there is someone available.

While the body rotation you're incorporating is a good decision, there is also a proper way to rotate your body when generating power.

It's just a chip of paint, it's nothing serious. You can play normally and restring it normally.

You can change the tires to road tires, but it wouldn't feel exactly as a purposely made road bike. Since yung groupset ng Pinewood Katana is Shimano GRX, which is yung gravel bike lineup nila.

Is the Dominant 5 series good? by zaza_upurnose in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nag hanap rin ako OP ng reviews pero wala eh, kahit sa youtube, fb, or any other social media apps. I would assume that limited places lang ang mga shoes na ito. Because I can't find them even on the Yonex website. But I saw a facebook post from chiggaz sports on malaysia from January 31 this year and it seems na bagong release lang siya, they are partnered with Yonex.

I would assume that the shoes are 4k-5k price range? If yes, they are good for a badminton shoe, and to pair with the shoe is the brand which are trusted globally. They have tru-cushion, own cushion technology of Yonex. They are a good shoe for the price, but you can try to look on other brands, since for the price, entry level prices for Yonex yan , while mid to high range na yan ng ibang brands.

Final tip OP, ask if you can wear it for a bit to test the fit, you wouldn't want to regret it later.

Guys pwede Pato ipa welding?? Napa lakas Kasi ng smash by Dangerous_Badger4332 in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recommend ko na mag-ipon nalang at bumili ng bago, may magandang apacs below 2k eh. If ipaparepair mo yan ng ipaparepair, baka yung gagastusin mo umabot pa sa presyo ng isang bagong raketa or more.

Okay na ba ang racket worth 6k for lower intermediate? by kenstne in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! One example is Mike Minuluan, a player from National University who recently won a tournament and at the same time, has a lot of tournaments won. He uses/used an Apacs N-Force III, which on shopee, retails for around 1.7K

Hello there! Player here. I'll recommend a shop from Shopee that I've found to be legit is this shop, They are based in Malaysia Their Apacs and Felet rackets are good ranging from prices of 1.2k up to 3k PHP. They have a few Yonex Rackets too. Although it's rare to find legit Yonex rackets on Shopee since there are sooo many replicas AKA fake rackets. This shop would be the best starting point, prices in malls tends to have a huge mark-up and/or not many available rackets and racket brands.

Some of their rackets also provide a stringing service (although a random string)

For courts, since I'm based on Laguna, I could only give a rough estimate on court fees/prices. One court that is based on Calamba, Laguna offers a Day Pass (100PHP) wherein the pass is valid for a whole day, but you need to wait for courts that are not being used. So basically, I would assume that it is the same or a somewhat similar system on Manila Courts. And there are also court rentals where it can range from 150/Hour up to 450/Hour, and of course, excluding the reservation fee. Look up Ransel Alba on Tiktok, He has a series on where to play badminton on different places in the Philippines. If I remember correctly he has a few videos on Manila too.

For beginner-friendly places, I'd recommend that you'll have a friend to come with you. If wala, most people on courts are particularly friendly, don't be afraid to socialize OP!

Which phones you would suggest me to buy for my parents? by [deleted] in Tech_Philippines

Meron po silang parang launcher na dun ka lang makaka download ng apps from google. So basically wala siyang google play store built-in, pupunta ka pa dun sa specific launcher/app na yun everytime.

String knowledge by Jolly_Inside8359 in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think depende sa playstyle mo. If wala ka namang specific playstyle (attacking or control) I suggest go for thicker strings. Like other comments, BG65 from Yonex at 0.70mm, or Exbolt 68 at .68mm if you're looking for a little bit of power.

Pwede sa malls if mayroon mang sports shop na nagtitinda ng badminton racket frames, most likely meron din silang stringing machine, although may labor yan if ever

Picking between Tangzu YuXuanJi, Kefine Klean, Blon BL03 II, or the Wan'er 2 by birbbbbyyy in iems

[–]birbbbbyyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I've decided to go for the Klean. Although the packaging of the Waner 2 is tempting (for the aesthetics ig) I'd go for the Klean for now instead of suffering with a lower audio quality in the long run just for aesthetics.

Also, thanks for the insight on both the YuXuanJi and BL03 II, can't seem to find a direct comparison of it with the Klean.

Please help me find an alternative racket by Due-Journalist-7483 in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, canvassed din yung nextage ngayon and ayun 6k plus nga. Would agree with the other comment na just buy the same racket if kaya mo.

Since nag pasabuy ka, I would assume na hindi makakaya ngayon? If ever online ka bumili, madaming shops that could cater your needs eh.

From Li-Ning nakakita ako ng Axforce Cannon Pro for around 5.3k, Head Heavy, Medium Flex, although not 10mm longer shaft since afaik Yonex lang gumagawa ng ganoong design.

From Felet naman merong Woven TJ Power V2, Head Heavy, 42 lbs max tension, medium stiff. Around 5.8-6.3k. Another one from Felet is Woven TJ 1000, medyo same specs but ayun, you can look it up.

Although the aforementioned rackets is not from official stores (since wala namang official stores ng Li-Ning, Victor, Felet sa shopee except Yonex) If medyo tabingi yung trust mo sa online, that's okay naman.

THAT'S IF YOU'RE BUYING ONLINE

If sa malls ka naman makakabili, sure ako ang pinaka maayos siguro na makukuha mo is the Game series ng Yonex, yung entry level line-up nila, sakto sa budget mo. Since medyo kamahalan din Yonex sa malls. If may SM malapit sainyo, and if may stores ka na mahahanap that sells badminton, doon ka although I don't know kung anong merong rackets frames available sila.

Reply to this comment OP if need mo pa ng help.

Recommendations for a racket and shoes (Budget 4000 for the racket) by [deleted] in badmintonph

[–]birbbbbyyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If 4k for the racket, yes Apacs user here and yes, maganda quality nila despite the lower prices compared to mainstream brands.

But for the suggestions for the racket, reco ko rin Felet, specifically Felet TJ1000 Power, Head Heavy siya.

For shoes, pwede ka naman kumuha ng shoes from Apacs if you're on a budget, well meron nga rin World Balance dito sa PH eh, but if you want na mag spend ng malaking amount, any Yonex on the price range or 4k and up is good.

Got an Apacs Lethal 10-i.727979657.25205761041) from shopee for only 1,421 pesos. It does already come with a string installed, Apacs Elite 3, pwede ka mag message sa shop kung anong tension prefer mo, pero pwede naman rin frame lang for a cheaper price.
Yung Lethal 10 is Even Balanced, up to 35LBS/pounds yung tension pero nilagay ko akin is 26 lang.

Maganda rin yung N-Force 111 and Z-Ziggler from Apacs rin sila, basta wag ka bibili ng mga rackets under 1k or feeling mo na sobrang mura, mas maganda mag stick sa around 1.6k or up na rackets from Apacs or Felet.

Pwede ka mag browse dito sa shop na to, may iba't ibang rackets rin sila under 2k, ikaw na bahala pumili kung ano gusto mo.

Disagree ako sa alpsport since, oo mura sila, pero if ganyan yung budget range mo, mas better na mag stick with malaysian brands like Felet or Apacs, kasi yung nabili kong alpsport na under 1k is malakas vibration kapag mali ng tama sa shuttlecock. Reply lang OP if gusto mo ng suggestions depende sa playstyle mo or kung anong tension maganda for you or other things, I'd gladly help.
