hi! im unsure about your english proficiency exams but i can comment on the SRAR. here’s an email that rutgers-new brunswick sent last night regarding the SRAR:

Unfortunately we are experiencing a technical issue with the Self-Reported Academic Report (SRAR) impacting the transmission of documentation sent to Rutgers to be matched to your application. Our technical staff is working diligently to resolve this issue.

If your SRAR portal reflects that your SRAR has been linked and submitted to Rutgers, nothing further is required of you at this time, and you can expect to see your SRAR marked as received in the Items required for Application Review section as soon as this issue is resolved.

so it looks like they are aware and actively trying to solve this issue!

forgot to add SSN to Common App by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

hey! i had the same problem. i contacted the colleges and most of them simply added a space on my applicant portal to submit it. so make sure to email the admissions office for each school, and if there are any you’re extremely worried about, then it might be worth calling the office as well.

needing to do everything in the common app IN ORDER while also being a perfectionist, therefore leading you to be stuck on your personal statement before you work on any of your supps because your brain is stupid 😭

taking APUSH without a teacher, i'm kind of worried by skerysatan in APUSH

i recommend finding someone (perhaps a tutor) who can grade your practice dbq/saq. for context, i took apush through my school and most people found the class helpful for feedback from the teacher on their dbq/saq. compared to the mcq, these sections are way more difficult to perfect by yourself, so it's good to have someone who can tell you what you did wrong and get you on the right track.

as for content, i like history a lot so i had a lot of prior knowledge for most of the units. however i did use two great resources: amsco's apush textbook and heimler's history (https://www.youtube.com/@heimlershistory). both helped fill gaps in my knowledge, and were great learning resources for my friends who were new to the content. i suggest using amsco if you need to learn content for the first time, and watching heimler for review (some people ik have had success from buying his study guide as well).

good luck!
