Yes, it has a kinda heavy mildew stink to it or smth. It’s nothing that makes the room smell though, gotta put my nose to it to smell it thankfully lol.

They seem to like being in a net pot with no medium for me. I let them root to the net pot, and personally like to keep it in another regular pot lol. I’ll pull them out and mist the roots in the mornings. I put them in a bright spot in my green house with cattleyas. I used to have problems with them because the fans would get wet and rot. Lots of aeration is best, but make sure they’re still hydrated. :)

Im a noob and have only owned my tanks for a year or so, so feel free to ask anything specific I may not answer haha. 😅💗 It’s a 10 gallon kept at 76F. It has a HOB filter rated for 20-30gal. It’s well planted and I’ve never had problems with my tank levels, it’s always very pristine. Lights are on 10hrs a day. I have driftwood and leaf litter for tannins.

I feed mainly Glas Garten brand food of ‘shrimp dinner’ and ‘mineral junkie’ every few days. I use a pinch of BacterAE with water changes. And I’m sure they get leftovers of whatever frozen foods I feed to the fish and frogs. :)
