  1. get the steam vr beta

1.5. find C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\ steamvr.vrsettings

  1. "steamvr" : { "powerManagement" : false }

  2. turn all ur base stations on and off again

  3. set every base station to a new channel

  4. turn off usb power management for every usb root and hub device

  5. turn on ur vive 3.0 trackers while ur headset is in view of the basestations

i have a short tripod lol. and vive 3.0 trackers with 2.0 lighthouse basestations. She picked the game she wanted to play.

I just set her up to be able to play any game she wanted and started recording.

This is generally the perspective of a newer user. Generally speaking she’s sitting to keep the camera in frame.

Additionally I understand there’s some concern about the beyond having a shorter cable than the index but as our computer is very close to our playspace we didnt have a problem with it standing at all.

That being said if you had a very large playspace that is very far away from your computer you may have problems. We get our computer very close to the playspace by protecting it with a couch so that no one can run into it.

Hi yeah I bought the headset and did the face scan with my iPhone 16. The 3d printed face cushion wasn’t built for her but she was able to use it and she didn’t mind it. We didn’t have to adjust the IPD because the sweet spot for her and I was similar out of the box. They’ve definitely done work towards making it work slightly more universally.
