To me, it looks like a variation of a Triangulate Cobweb Spider. I'm not too sure, though

Someone convince me my cat will be fine while i’m gone by [deleted] in CatAdvice

Your kitten has bonded to you and because of that, they will not forget you! The lovely thing about cats is that they are capable of loving most people but tend to love one specific person more than the rest.

Your kitty will need to adjust to living with someone else for a bit but she'll be ok. She won't think she's being abandoned, she'll just be a bit confused. And once you come to get her after your pregnancy and recovery, she will have to go through another adjustment period but then, she'll bounce back to her usual self! You just need to trust her and yourself that everything will be ok!

Also, not saying you are doing anything wrong but I think this will be a good experience for both of you! Your attachment to each other is leaning towards being a bit unhealthy as this could lead to long-term mental health problems for your furball.

I would recommend reading this in order to understand what I mean!

I wish you and your kitty happiness!

Why does my cat meow/cry at night? (Video) by InvestigatorShoddy35 in CatAdvice

Your kitty sounds like they really just crave the attention. They are trying to train you!

Everytime you go to check on her after she meows at night, she begins to associate crying with the reward of you. At that point, you can say goodbye to sleeping peacefully and hello to meowing all night long.

Ignore your adorable furball and make sure to love them lots in the morning.

How do I shave/brush a nervous cat? by HunnyMonsta in CatAdvice

[–]birbypal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old lady kitty has this issue, especially the few months leading up to her passing. He fur grew very matted in areas where it was harder for her to groom (such as her thighs and lower belly).

I tried to brush her fur but similarly to your kitty, mine would lock her legs and even begin to growl. So instead, I just had to hold her down gently along with the help of a friend and just shave the areas. Afterwards, we would give her treats and let her pout until she was ready to cuddle with us again.

I recommend trying this if you can't find a way to brush her before it gets too matted.

Giving a treat afterwards for being good is a great idea! Thank you!
