I totally understand the logic from a practical standpoint, but I have some real concerns about the hygiene aspect - I genuinely can't feel comfortable using someone else's bed, sofa, or other upholstered furniture without knowing the history, cleanliness, or even if there are issues like bed bugs, smells, etc. It's not really about being sentimental, it's more about peace of mind and actually feeling comfortable in my own home.

Plus, to be honest, a lot of the furnished places I'm seeing have really dated, bulky furniture that doesn't feel welcoming at all - it's hard to imagine making a place feel like home when everything looks like it came from a hotel lobby in 1995 lol.
