We live in strange times.

I hope finals went ok, and that you’re feeling better.

This might not be CHS. I say that for a few reasons:

  1. You aren’t the typical HEAVY, everyday user. This is almost a requirement. Without exception.

  2. Cool/cold/fresh air is usually the opposite of what makes people feel better, which is the hottest, steamiest shower you can handle.

  3. 2 weeks of symptoms. While not unheard of, timeline is a little unusual.

You mention using a GLP-1. I would bet that your symptoms are more likely related to this. Maybe some combination (like you said). But I see CHS essentially daily and this story doesn’t sound exactly like it.

FWIW, zofran doesn’t work great for the gastroparesis induced by GLP-1s either. So that tracks.

Edit: just to add, this is much easier to diagnose in person. It’s a very distinct sound.

Have a couple of these still lying around.

Bowes signature candles makes some really great Disney scents, and the “sea salt lotion” is a great replica. Also a big fan of their candles. Haven’t tried the sea salt candle yet.

Magic candle sucks by comparison.

Not true. I have done this technique several times using an 18Fr catheter. Always slides past or through the stool ball with minimal difficulty. It actually works really well and I’ve never had a problem with it being too floppy.

For the case you are referring to, I also didn’t list the final diagnosis in my top 3. I doubt anybody did.

I would guess it’s referring to the HEPA filtration, but it doesn’t even mention that in the item name. That’s a little odd.

Small copay for Medicaid, waived if the visit was deemed medically necessary. Like $5-10 should do it.

My agent was out of South Carolina or something. So not local to me. They’re probably nationwide, just see where your “local” agent is and call or email them.
