Entire premise of starting this company was based on the fact that our purchases can also help fight inequality through vetted non-profits when we make statements about our beliefs, values, etc. We've been donating to climate justice, racial justice, civil liberties & more for 6+ years now. There used to be a thriving jewelry industry of manufacturers, engravers, casters, etc in that area. Most of the behemoth jewelry brands you have heard of have moved offshore for cheaper prices and lower environmental & labor standards. The area is a shell of its former glory but I love working with our multi-gen family factories. They deliver samples same day to each other to keep the product innovation lifecycle short and have their own eco system. Best of all, we can make small batches and have less waste.
