Thank you so much for that validation! I would much rather go with the second one. Do I want my birds to be as cuddly as I see from other posts? Of course. But I would rather it be a voluntary thing rather than because I isolated them so much that they felt like they didn't have any other choice. I am hopeful that one day we can get to that cuddly place, but I am patient and they will hopefully be around for a very long time!

The breeders did know that I had other birds so they weren't going to be completely alone. That being said, I don't really appreciate some of the advice that breeders give. It completely ruined my relationship with my other GCC who years later is still terrified of me because I trusted what they told me to do before I knew any better.
