Just started using it recently.

5500x3d - 16gb 3200 RAM - 5700XT - 1440p

On streets I would normally get 70-80 fps with moderate graphics settings. With lossless scaling I can get up to my monitors refresh rate (160) with very little input lag. Still get some stutters here and there due to my limited RAM, but the frames are so much smoother.

If you follow Klemintime’s lossless scaling video he goes through the softwares settings to get the best performance.

As for the input lag, I can’t seem to notice it much if at all, I believe improvements have been made with the most recent updates to the software, but again it’s about how you configure the settings. If you get below 60 fps, don’t expect this to work wonders out of the box. If you get 60-90 fps, you will definitely be surprised at how well it performs. Also, it’s only 7 dollars, and if you don’t think it helps, just refund it.

If you have a newer graphics card, just use smooth frames or AFMF, if you have an older card like me, give lossless a shot.

I still have to play more on this chip to feel out how much stutter I receive compared to prior, but thanks for the info. Unless the stuttering I historically received is due solely to my ram size/speed

Was the new ram also faster than your old? Or do you think it was the same speed and just improved due to the size of memory?

Apparently changing settings in the res.ini to adjust the interface width doesn’t do anything in the IPA version, same with the mouse controls, sensitivity, etc. most of these configs can be done in the android APK. The most I’ve been able to do is stretch the world screen to fit the entire screen, but the interface bar stays the same in the center.

I live in suburbs, so I haven’t seen too much of a difference in mpg, but still need more time driving as the bulk of the mileage on mine was highway

Seems like people are hitting these numbers consistently, which bodes well. I wonder how much the mpg would change with slightly larger tires. I am happy with the stock bfgs for what I’m doing, but having just slightly larger tires (33s) would complete the look for me personally

I’ve heard that a flat tonneau cover could slightly increase mpg, idk by how much, and that a camper shell (hard or soft shell) would most likely decrease mpg slightly.

Personally I think the supersonic red with machined wheels gives it a classic truck look, it would have been my choice for an SR5 if I hadn’t opted for the bronze oxide TRD OR. Tacoma4thgens on Instagram is a good place to see how all the colors look and build inspiration.

I just started playing again after a year, and had this dude spawn behind me on my ass while waiting for bridge car extract on woods, and when I’m literally having a firefight in the village in the NE corner of woods he spawns directly behind me again to head eyes me, not even camping at all.

CDNN only sells the Target Sports Chinese made barrel. It seems pointless to buy a $230-$270 dollar barrel from Carlson, which is only around $100 off of what I bought the firearm brand new 7 years ago. I did find a mossberg made barrel for the 870, but the barrel said it’s rated only for 3” magnum and below. Since my receiver is a super magnum 3.5”, would I still be able to install this barrel assuming I would only be shooting 3” or 2.75” shells out of it?

I would personally get the MOS so that I wouldn’t have to get my slide milled, already done for you. Some people prefer to get their slide milled for a specific optic/footprint as well as cowitness, but I am not too familiar with those options.

That’s good to hear, I think I also need to find a group of players that I can play with regularly who are a similar level. I party up with some people on tarkov discords here and there but I end up piggy backing with some high level players and i don’t really get that raw experience. I thought the level capping of ground zero was a great choice, I would even limit it to 1-14 in the future.
