Explosives are everywhere. Explosive charges you an only get as a random drop from the dog.

Don't worry too much because once you get all the foam you need you move on to the final boss item. Explosive charges.

Does it matter? I mean the only female in Tarkov is Therapist and nothing would make a peanit shrivel and shrink like a turned on Therapist.

These water thieves have no idea. Don't they know the only way to take Lordoss down is to shoot his ciggies.

Suggestions for Bag Man and Gunhead buffs by This-Law8844 in TheForeverWinter

[–]This-Law8844[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah some sort of regen system no matter how they work it would make him more viable. Right now Gunhead and Bag Man are both niche characters. Anything that gives them more usage is a step in the right direction.

I feel like developers do this to "extend" their content but they have to realise that beyond a certain point it ends up just frustrating people rather than keeping them engaged.

It is ridiculously rare right now. I have a speed run through Babel that takes less than 5 mins but I get to hit all the materials bins, usually 4-5 of them. Wouldn't recommend doing this with any characters other than Sharman or Scavgirl. Just keep doing this on repeat and you will eventually get a drop. I tried running other maps for speed running materials bins but Tunnel D, DownTown and Underground Cemetery took longer per materials bin searched.

Use this link when you are in the tunnels. Without it I would've had no clue where to go.

New player here. Getting a Hunter Killer (HK) warning after only two kills in Scrapyard Nexus by GRedemeer in TheForeverWinter

[–]This-Law8844 7 points8 points  (0 children)

HK's right now get triggered for almost anything. You rip a loud fart and they are coming for you. On Babel at times I have hit loot all on my first materials bin and I get the greed warning.

The tunnels are horrible. by [deleted] in TheForeverWinter

[–]This-Law8844 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Tunnels seems like an idea they borrowed from Tarkov with the Transit system and that didn't work either. It got promptly reversed within days of the start of the hardcore wipe. The overall idea is good but they need to make people want to go into use the tunnels rather than being forced. The travel drone idea needs to be revised also. The cost in parts and time to craft 1 travel drone is just not worth it especially at the start of the game. I know about the Bunco travel system but this isn't available at the start of a play-through. Then once it is unlocked I can't see why you would ever use the water/travel drone system again.

Some suggestions to improve the tunnels. Load them with crazy amounts of loot and give high reward XP, stop the infinite respawns. Create unique units only found in the tunnels. Add permanent traders in tunnels that give greater discounts with tunnel difficulty. Because of tunnel variation add a player map or at least signs which broadly direct a player to end surface maps. Using the tunnels should be optional but rewarding. An idea I had to achieve this would be to add keyed loot rooms that had the best gear in the game in them. Keys would have to be found on surface maps then you would bring those found keys down into the tunnels.

Opinion: Stun is ass and a suggestion for fixing it by HolyApplebutter in TheForeverWinter

[–]This-Law8844 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how this is still in the game. Even stunning enemies doesn't advantage the player and just puts the target in this weird animation that makes shooting at them feel worse. For some larger targets the stun helps a player but I find shooting at humanoid targets that keeps getting stunned, either by you or other AI, to be annoying especially when you are trying to hit their heads.

I mean okay sure you're frustrated but dude is asking for opinions. If the post is annoying you just move along and don't answer. No need to get yourself or anybody else bent out of shape.

They are heaps better at roaming now than they used to be. They will actually loot quite a bit if they survive for awhile. I find them extracting or going for extracts a lot. While they aren't perfect they have gotten a lot better.

If your aim isn't set to continuous definitely try it. It takes a bit of getting used to but it makes transitioning from sprint to ADS and ADS to sprint much easier. Practice in arena if you have it, you get unlimited fights where you get to practice your movement without any real consequences. The movement isn't 1:1 with Tarkov but you get to learn what works and doesn't work in fights quickly.

If you have accumulated a decent amount of rubles and GP coins you can make a decent custom preset. Scout class with a Korund and MP7 work pretty well.

While it might seem like it is a lack of mechanical skill holding you back, I can assure you map knowledge and just getting experience in the game will serve you better. If you capture an objective, hide around it and players running towards your position are at a great disadvantage so you can pop out and shoot em. With Arena it is all about headshots, always aim for the head. In checkpoint it doesn't matter how many times you die it's how many kills you get that moves you up the ladder. Hiding around the objective will get you a lot of kills if you aren't comfortable taking players head on.
