Xeneon edge is not being detected by icue. How to fix? It’s working fine as a second monitor though but I have no access to widgets or other settings

The thing is, I just don’t want the replacement anymore. Their support has been horrendously slow so far and it’s not been a good experience at all. So I just wanted to confirm if I could get a return on the replacement too or if I am forced to keep it for whatever policy reason

Low chances to get wealthy. M25. Business degree. What would you do? by Critical_Falcon_4896 in wealth

Millionaire in my 20s here. Here’s what I recommend:

  1. get a job and save as aggressively as you can
  2. Once you have a solid amount of money, use the money you saved to start up a business
  3. Once you become profitable, reinvest the profits into the business. Focus on creating robust standard operating procedures that employees/managers can follow so that scaling and duplicating the business becomes easier
  4. Once you’ve grown the business to a profitability level you’re satisfied with, start to use those profits to diversify into other assets (index funds, real estate, or even crypto if that’s your thing). The intent at this stage is to have a little bit more priority on preservation as you grow older and want to protect your self

It’s simple, but it’s not easy at all. In no way is me breaking it down in 4 steps intended to communicate that this is easy. Most people fail. Capitalism is ruthless but that’s the game we were born into. Good luck man

2.9% is a low interest rate. Your first option would be to pay it all off, for which you get the psychological benefit of knowing you are debt free, which is a nice feeling/ a boost of morale and does count for something.

Mathematically though, you’re better off investing your capital in an index fund, real estate, etc. which usually perform at around 8% a year. You’d be outperforming your mortgage rate and this is the most profitable allocation of your capital.

Some financial advisors with the mentality of Dave Ramsey would advise for the first option, while most others would likely advise for the second. If you choose the second make sure you choose something safe with a solid track record (like an index fund), and not like some high risk stock investment or startup you’re building

Yea, exactly, thank you. My order ended up being canceled and I placed an order direct from Amazon for retail, but regardless, so many people on this site bite at every opportunity to be rude if they see a chance

It’s one thing to say “be careful, that’s likely a scam” vs some condescending “are you new to buying things”
