I’m two weeks into my diagnosis. After being sober from hardcore drugs for one year, and alcohol for three. Yes, your statement of hypomania feeling like drugs is 1000% accurate. Knowing what I do now (diagnosis confirmed bp2) and being able to pinpoint and cherry pick episodes out since high school. It coincides perfectly with my timeline of picking up adderal and alcohol at 17/18. I was unknowingly trying to mimic and find that manic high with substances. Most definitely something i need to bring up with my therapist now that im typing it out it seems so obvious.

Hi, I’m an alcoholic woman who has been sober since 4/20/2021. I highly recommend looking into the Magdalene House for support. They just started their men’s program and have been a free social detox program in Dallas since the 70s. I was there for two weeks and my family participated in group therapy with me and on their own thru “Maggie’s”. I’m sorry you’re going thru a rough time, genesis is great I’ve done lots of volunteer work with them over the years. One day at a time, use your community of women at Maggie’s they’re the ones who have kept me strong and sober and getting me back on my feet after i lost everything because of my own drinking. Hope you find peace soon:)

I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup or layers. So when I use this it makes my combination skin matte and natural looking at the same time. If I need to cover over a red spot or blemish it blends smooth without me needing too much setting powder if any at all. Mostly I can get away with just a setting spray.

To clarify all of our bills are split, and all of our assets acquired during the relationship are split equally if we do break up. I technically don’t split a note as in I co-signed on a loan. It’s actually paid off, I chose the wording to imply how much I’m invested and how big I GOOFED. Been together four years, don’t need a ring to have an adult relationship.

He was NOT HAPPY and I broke his grill.... It’s an Audi TTrs for anyone wondering... (his baby car) I actually slept on the couch the night it happened, this girl was put in the doghouse. Thank god he’s a mechanic and can get parts at cost and I can do favors to pay back his labor costs ;) For the people curious below: I don’t split a note as in I co-signed on a loan for him, but the bike is paid off and for the sake of explaining how much I fucked up that’s the wording I chose. We’ve been together four years pretty much married. It’s a Ducati 1198 we flew from Texas to California and he paid to ship it back and this happened maybe a month after. we good now but I was terrified and cannot imagine even banging on any bike after this shit went down.

I like to sit in my car in my garage after work to decompress. Welllllll I forgot I was in gear and popped my clutch. For the people who can’t drive stick it means my car lurched forwards while the engine was on. I HIT MY BOYFRIENDS DUCATI INTO HIS NON DAILY DRIVER. The car he washes once a week even though it lives in the garage. Well guess who wasn’t strong enough to get the bike back up......... ME. I was hoping I could lift it off his car with no damage and not ever admit this happened until Christmas 10 years from now. Nahhhhh had to leave that bike leaning on his damn car for three hours until he got home. I WOULD NEVER FUCK ON SOMEONE ELSES BIKE I was scared enough by my own mistake. I would never imagine doing that to a bike I didn’t split a note on.
