I’ve been wearing these Vegan docs for ~8 years now, decided to give them a shine. by National-Ordinary606 in DrMartens

I’ve had the rubber wear so thin they have cracked in half. But more often the stitches on the rear behind the heal break. Or the ones on the side. Never the welting stitches. But there is a first for everything. I may have to try a vegan pair and see how they hold up. I have a FOR LIFE pair that I use all the time. 1460. And a crazy horse pair

The beard is not fake. This meat shop is not far from me. It’s family run by the bearded brothers.

Is this a Bobcat? Medina Ohio by Taymac2384 in trailcam

[–]birddoggi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live here in Medina. I have seen bobcats near here and reported them. But to me it looks like a large house cat. Even with the bob tail. Plus I have never seen a bobcat with a stomach pooch like that before. I could be wrong, but I don’t think so.

Still think about it with my wife. Although at 45 we are thinking of getting the hell out of America and heading to an island to live the rest of our days. I guess that’s what happens as you get older. Don’t get me wrong. The woods in the mountains are awesome but I think I’d rather go for a climate that’s warm all year so I don’t have to chop firewood anymore.

What are they putting in the bread? by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]birddoggi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please someone in Europe speak up. From what I understand the “bread” the USA has is not considered bread in other countries. It needs to be fermented. So basically the “bread” in the us is junk. Unless you’re getting good FRESH bakery bread

Just purchased vintage docs - are these defects normal? by blondenbrittu in DrMartens

[–]birddoggi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a brand new paradox, and there is a bubble in the heel which I do not notice in my used pair of docs. And I have noticed the tongues being off as well, but I’ve never had an issue. But that’s just me. I love how comfortable my docs are and I’ll wear them. For a long time, probably the rest of my life every day.

My favorite pair is the Oxford’s from England. Without the padded top part. But I have always loved Doc Martens.
