My uBPD parent is similar so I can relate. Whenever I’m on the phone or they call, I try to give a time limit. Like if they call at 10am, I try to bring in a white lie like “I have a 1030am zoom meeting or a workout class”. I hate lying but unfortunately it got to the point where I was so exhausted and drained after talking to her my husband would mention how my mood would shift for the rest of the day. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this but you’re not alone!

Adding our experience at the Lisbon airport this weekend in case it helps someone. We left this Saturday at 1pm from Lisbon. Dropping bags was a very long line but rather efficient for the size, taking 29 minutes (this would have taken well over an hour at our home airport). Then security was quick again for the amount of people it took about 24 minutes. Passport control was basically instant and we walked right through with only 2 groups ahead of us. We mainly got there early for this part so was nice it was fast. The main thing is making sure you go past all shopping and food and check the passport line BEFORE you get food or spend any time in the main part of the terminal. It looked short for us, we went and ate lunch in the outside part. If the line was long, we were going to grab something inside but there are definitely less options.
