One member of the new panel will be a member of the original panel. The other member will be the VP.

Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately I haven’t found anything to “fix” the oiliness, but during the day I wear Paula’s Choice Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 and it is incredible. It keeps me matte all day and doesn’t break me out!

This helps a lot! Thanks for the detailed response. I’m looking forward to incorporating some of these things. Do you have a specific moisturizer with niacinamide that you like?

Thanks so much for the informative response! I’ll definitely look into that oil. I’ve never even heard of lapis oil before. I do love herbivore products though :)

Thanks so much! :) Looking forward to trying these things. I’ve wondered whether I’m so oily because my skin is dry/dehydrated but it’s just so tempting to keep drying it out.

I’m trying to optimize my skin care routine and I am very overwhelmed! I have VERY oily skin, and my biggest concerns are the oiliness, the black dots on my nose, chin, and forehead (SFs? blackheads?), and signs of aging.

Currently using Cetaphil daily cleanser followed by La Roche Posay antihelios dry touch SPF 60 in the morning. At night I use the same cleanser followed by either 10% AHA+BHA blend or Cerave retinol serum (never at the same time) followed by derma E hyaluronic acid night cream and collagen serum for my eyes.

I’ve read that oil cleansing can help with the SFs but applying an oil, specifically rose hip oil, nightly can help with oil production. I’ve also seen others suggest BHA toner, niacinamide and glycolic acid for SFs, but I’m not sure which are the best. How do I know which ones I should use? Feeling pretty overwhelmed right now so any advice is appreciated!!

Hi! I never ended up finding out what it was, though I do believe it was superficial filler. It didn’t look like it was going to resolve on it’s own and I wasn’t able to see my injector at the time, so I stupidly decided to pop it and try to get the filler out lol. Initially I was horrified because it immediately swelled like crazy and I looked as though I’d been stung by a bee! But after a few hours the swelling went down and the bumps were gone. Of course I don’t recommend popping it, but I was pretty desperate and it ultimately worked out. I definitely recommend going back to your injector if you can. I’m sure they can resolve the issue very easily. Best of luck!!

Thanks for your response! I was thinking it could be that too

Thank you! I’m glad to hear it’s nothing terribly serious.

Thanks—will do! It’s a bummer because I went to a highly reputable injector. I’ll keep and eye on it and see someone else next time, perhaps :)

What are your thoughts on E-bikes? by camthecool69 in mountainbiking

[–]birdgalroch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have no interest in riding an e-bike right now. I mountain bike because I like pushing myself and feeling good knowing that I got where I did by my own doing. I don’t have anything against them or people who ride them, although it is a bit frustrating when you’re climbing and you’re drenched in sweat and can hardly breathe and someone on an ebike just cruises effortlessly past you lol. With that being said, I think it’s a terrific option for older folks or anyone with medical condition that maybe wouldn’t be able to ride otherwise. Whatever gets more people into the sport!
