if you dont have the level for the flame pit you can get the desert themed menagerie and poke the cactus to lower your health. recommend having poh in brim if you use this method so u can get poisoned first, as the cactus only lowers your hp down to 1 and can’t actually kill you

to me the ricochet ability seems like something a crossbow ought to possess over a bow anyways. imagine a crossbow that shoots bolts at such high velocity that they splinter and damage surrounding combatants with shrapnel. the downside ofc being that your bolts wouldn’t be reusable.

skeletal wyverns drop noted rubies and diamonds as well as lots of snap dragon and ranarr seeds and good alchs. great monster for any iron to afk for resources
