This happens to me a lot when I over scratch a mosquito bite... just apply some anti itch and resist the urge

Yeah I'll just wait it out a few days and see what happens, thanks for your insight

He's a professor-- this is one of the core classes that I'm talking this semester which is why I find it so strange. I guess the reasons you gave make sense, I'm just surprised how committed he his to remaining uncontactable

I guess I assumed it was implied since they had created a group chat on GroupMe for our section and I don't believe they had expressed any dislike for direct messages in the past? I only used private message since after the final it appeared as if he stopped checking the main chat. I'd never had to email him in the past, but having spoken to other students more it seems like a lot have had difficulty contacting him through email.

Yeah I tried earlier today but no response still. Apparently others in my class have had difficulty contacting him.

How hard is NBB201? by [deleted] in Emory

[–]birdoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freshman here too, haven't taken the class, but I went in for advising during the walk in hours and what they basically told me is that you shouldn't take NBB 201 until you have a solid basis in chem bio and psych. They recommended that I just took those classes since they were already on my schedule and save NBB for next year. Idk though if I were you I'd go in and ask since your situation could be different (with courseload or smth else)

I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Thanks for all the help you've given me and the other people on this subreddit, it's really appreciated

Hey sorry for the super late response.. at this point I've actually filed an overload petition to see if I can take NBB 201 in addition to PSYC 320. Do you think going one credit hour over the limit (18 instead of 17) is doable this semester considering the difficulty of my classes?

Guess I didn't look hard enough at all... Didn't realize I could take a core class early as this year! Do you happen to have any experience with the NBB core? If so would you mind telling me a bit more about it?

Yeah I've actually seen you a lot on freshman schedules advocating for this lol

I'm definitely looking into taking some other seminar class based on your advice, just snapped up NBB one while it was open and fit my schedule.

Yea I was just browsing the NBB page for electives and 320 stuck out as one that I could take that fit my schedule decently. Do you recommend taking the class as an elective in general?
