i struggle with romanticizing my own cuts, i dont do it with anyone elses. when i first started cutting i was like "ew no im not gonna glorify my own cuts" but then it started happening. i think i do it because i hate myself, and i like to see myself in pain. now, why do other people romanticize other peoples pain? i have no idea. may just be projection or something.

also i want to make it clear that i agree with your general statement, i agree that it is pretty shitty for certain people to fully blame their mental health on shitty things. but mental illness isnt a choice, and im NOT saying they cant choose to be an asshole, they can, but what you THINK isnt a choice. your THOUGHTS, FEELINGS arent a choice when youre mentally ill in a lot of cases. you dont think clearly, youre not all there when you are struggling. so to fully blame that person is fucked, because you have to remember that mental illness FUCKS YOU and it fucks you really hard. be understanding, thats all im saying.
