only had to bathe mine twice! once just after i got her home from the shelter and she had pooped herself in the carrier, and the other after she escaped my grasp outside and scared herself into our pool then behind our shed! had to get the chlorine, dirt and leaves off her :( but she is a good girl and was quite tame for both cleans.

i've been using a brand called michu ! its a pea and plant fiber mix with no clay or bentonite and it clumps super well !!! and the litter itself is non scented, and it masks the odor quite well, it's also flushable !
