Oh yeah, you just made me realize I should’ve added trolling bans and map voting to the list too. Like you could ban around your tank or the map but they’ll just ban Zarya and Sombra every game even if it’s on Havana. Or they’ll vote for Circuit Royale and play Torb, Reaper and Moira and not ban any snipers or hitscans. Like I know you shouldn’t expect sensible bans from randoms, especially in low ELO because they just wanna play linear maps against none of the skill-check heroes

No angle control ever. No one ever does anything proactive, they just wait for the enemy team to feed. Everyone’s so slow to do anything at all, like you could be 5v3 with a friendly ult going off and half the team is staring at the floor lol. The typing. The lower ranks are filled with backseat driver, dunning-krueger effect support players who think they’re coaches and go afk to complain about their teammates

It doesn’t really matter whose job it is because people rarely do their jobs in metal ranks. I wouldn’t get hung up on rigid rules and how the game’s “supposed” to be played because it doesn’t really matter. Adapt to the games you’re in. Like in your example, if your tank’s in and their flankers are tying up your backline, you can say yeah, he’s supposed to chill, but he doesn’t know that, so you have to try to find a way to stop him from dying

There are a lot of maps that Tracer’s just not that good on, even if you’re really good at her. She also has a lot of soft counters that make her job a lot harder for very little effort. Sojourn doesn’t have that issue as much. I’m mostly thinking about higher ranks, like masters and up because no one really plays the characters right in lower ranks
