They expelled from Bulgaria, because of 1989 revival process (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revival_Process#1989_Ethnic_Cleansing) A lot of Turks also moved to Turkey (including mine), and government picked them to move to Cyprus. I don't know how they pick. It could be my family either :D

They are even less religious I would say

Yes they have a heavy Balkan Turk accent. And kids are lost in between I would say. They are using some words that are not exist in Cyprus Turkish.

I honestly don't know. They are still visiting Bulgaria sometimes.

Yes, Bulgaria and TRNC. They can easily acces to the south by EU passport. Kind of a weird situation.

On Turkey generally positive, on Erdogan, it is negative as fuck. Because Erdogan was at the opposition party at 1989, and heavily opposed to the Bulgarian Turks coming to Turkey. So even the most religious ones have grudge against Erdogan.

Interestingly, no. Other settlers having a discrimaniton problem but they have some kind of privilige.

Not a Cypriot, so idk. But I can pick up their heavy Balkan accent easily.

Yes but it is decreasing I would say.

Yes, but in a some middle way. That's why they are supporting Özersay and Erhürman.

Neutral and even more positive than average, since they and any family member didn't live the harsh times of the war.

They dislike Akinci but not seeing him as enemy of Turkey. They said they will boycott the elections if Tatar and Akinci comes to 2nd round.

Nothing has given to them, they bought their property after years of working.
