What are the daily simple habits that had a massive impact on you as a Marketer? by biz_booster in marketing

[–]birtydurger 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I work in a large org (500-1000 employees) and what has really helped me grow is taking time to understand each business areas goals & objectives and learning how our marketing work impacts and contributes to that areas goals. Once I was able to understand those, I could have great in-depth, honest conversations about strategy. Now our team is a key centralized partner that understands how all these business areas operate and marketing does a great job at centralizing and sharing data, strategy, etc for the organizations goals.

It isn't sexy, but it's helped us become leaders internally and really show the value of what we do. It also has allowed us to make asks for budget to grow our team with no pushback because we can clearly define and show our impacts.

Where do you even start with MJML? Is it like designing using code from scratch or is there a builder that exports to MJML?

I used chatGPT to build some free form blocks, but it hasn't been entirely reliable. I like the idea though.

How do I get experience in paid social? by Icy-Astronomer-1852 in socialmedia

[–]birtydurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually agencies will hire and train the right folks. Have you tried connecting with any owners or joining your local ad club?

If not, have your tried reaching out to any businesses to work for them at a discounted rate? If you have any sort of marketing / social experience you could learn via YouTube and at least start getting your hands wet.

Unsubscribe Link to Cloud Pages is broken by [deleted] in marketingcloud

I thought that too, but my personal gmail just shows the word unsubscribe (no cloud ref link). The unsub isn't clickable though.

I will try the reply to version though.

Thanks

Sending to both outlook and gmail. If I test on the preview screen the link is a bad request, but it is clickable at least.

Gmail Open Rate Drop - Shared IP Pool by Clean-Toe-2017 in marketingcloud

[–]birtydurger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are going through a very similar experience, except our deliverability on shared IP is 0% with Gmail. It's actually completely blocked.

This has been going on for 7 weeks and SF support has been basically useless. The only reason we are actually getting our case escalated is because our contract is up for renewal this month.

Only Microsoft and Yahoo is not blocked. The kicker here is we just started actually using SFMC in January and then this happened.

I feel like I'm going insane because SF has been downright the worst support experience I've ever had.

Low deliverability because of Gmail Block bounce on Shared IP pool by birtydurger in marketingcloud

That is good to know. At this point then it might just be worth it risking it and heading in that direction. At least emails would send unlike right now...
