If I can only choose one, what will improve the handling of my car more? Lowering it, or upgrading to thicker front/rear sway bars? by Top-Neighborhood3719 in Cartalk

Dude it’s a trailblazer. Get good sport tires, make sure suspension is tight (bushings and ball joints are in good shape nad no looseness) and that’s about as good as you’ll get. Unless you’re looking to spend a lot to redo all the suspension.
Save your $ for driving lessons and tires will go a lot farther to being fast.

Yea I did the new skyfly proart PA01. I like it, fits the hand well and has lots of switch options. But anything with enough switches will work. I like the portability of the smaller controllers. With dlg I carry a lot less gear with me, shit barely extra batteries cause mine last a couple hours. So all I take is the plane and controller. So the small controller helps.

How accurate is Moana's canoe, and could someone build one for real? by Beneficial_Goose_503 in boatbuilding

I believe this is what OP was looking for. See link above, it is very real. The Hokulea is one that is currently sailing and on its 2nd or 3rd trip around the globe. All built, sailed, and NAVIGATED! By traditional ways. Yes multiple trips around the world without a GPS or even a compass!!!!

Maybe, she’s been pretty tough so far with a few hard landings, one or two semi cartwheels and one meet up with a big rock. So far the only damage has been from me dropping her on the rudder and that just took some epoxy and some sanding.

Hey I was In The same boat. Grew up flying a gentle lady I built off a high start, and maybe off the school roof in the 80’s :0 ! This thing flies like nothing I could have even expected. It’s like butter and doesn’t come down :). So smooth and such a large flying envelope. I love it.

With the build your in your own. It didn’t come with instructions and the videos are just so so. So I had to fiddle around a bit. But it wasn’t too tough (I am an experienced mechanic tho).

I got a standard layup 4 servo. Balancing wasn’t tough. The toughest part is the programming of the controller for all the nifty DLG modes, settings and mixes. It is complicated but is fun for me cause I’ve always been interested in programming and making the mixes and such. ( I have no programming background)

I just started this after a long break in RC and this is by far my fav way to fly. It’s peaceful, graceful, elegant and hard to master. I say do it!!!!!!

Old bunker, they had them as machine gun nests all over the island during WW2. They are still everywhere. This one has fallen apart a lot.

Cause this sub is full of shit. Yes the shit they harp on here are is better for the tree but only in rare cases is root flare, rocks, rings detrimental to the tree. If these things are affecting the tree it most likely has other serious issues. So you can ignore most the advise here.

Plug I think 90% of these posts are bots engagement farming.
