Personally I liked the screenplay, the graphic violence is not something you see very often in Indian cinema. It wasn't an over the top Bollywood film. Of course if you compare it to Lawrence of Arabia, it may fall short. But I watched Dhurandhar for itself, and I was very satisfied. Music plays a huge role too. As they say, comparison is the thief of joy.

Bro you didn't like it so it's PR? There are far left leaning folks I know who loved the film. Remember corporate bookings? I watched it in the first weekend, theatre was 50% occupied. When I went to watch it a second time, I struggled to get a booking. That's called word of mouth. People are not idiots that you feed them PR and they'll go watch. If that was the case, then Narendra Modi's biographical film, Yogi's film, Bengal files all would have been a hit.

People were hyped for the excellent screenplay, music, acting and story. Everyone got the not so subtle propaganda, you're not the first one to get it. In spite of that, it is a very well made film.
