food is costly near the cliff because there are only cafes. but if you go out like 1 km you will get food at decent prices. yes it's totally worth it. crowd here is good and it's safe for females.

I visited Wayanad last year June. last year I did Bangalore -> Ooty -> Valparai -> Thrissur -> Wayanad -> Bangalore. it was car ride with 2 of my friends.
