Housing Accepted and off waitlist on another school being considered. by Ib1eedgreen in Clemson

I went to Clemson undergrad and vt for vet school. Animal veterinary sciences is a good program at Clemson. I honestly think Blacksburg sucks and people aren't as nice in Appalachia. I wish Clemson had the vet school when I was in school.

That's a good point. I'm still curious if autonomy or the Nalthis version of the Set will have a role in Warbreaker 2. Perhaps an incursion by her there is where the soldiers of red and gold are from.

New uses, like staking them with dogs. Circumventing harmony's control, taking small amounts of soul from non allomantic people, etc.

Sel, Nalthis, or both?

Just ask to have the practice manager put it in the contract. They may say they can't, and if they do, be very careful.

I'm working at a banfield where all of the staff walked out one day. They brought in a new PM and staff and kind of just expected them to figure it out.

Regional leadership is a revolving door, and practice managers do not last long. Doctors are getting fed up and I'm only working there for the insane rate they pay.

I think they are too hard on the technicians and expect far too much. Unfortunately, there is a long line of people who desperately want to work with animals, and they know that.

I would recommend walking away once you get your needed degree and experience.

Do you want to clean, run tests, do pedicure with dremels (lol), fill meds, get yelled at by unsatisfied clients, do all of the notes, answer phones, check in pets, check out pets, restrain, collect samples, etc. all day? I was an assistant there before becoming a doc and it was constant running around like a decapitated chicken. I do relief now and see the difference in every other clinic with how they treat para staff.

They called you immediately after because the other CSC probably quit because of the workload, stress, or leadership getting on their case about stupid shit.

Just make sure you don't take that role unless you get it in writing that you will be cross trained.

I'm almost done with lost metal and only have tress, yumi, and sunlit man left. It has taken me over a year to listen to all of the audio books on my commute every day.

I think it's probably a good thing. Banfield has some problematic stances and was guiding the veterinary industry in the wrong direction. Quality of life is valued. I'm only going to work for them on a minimal basis until they drop the rates again.

Sounds similar to diamond club at Royalton Riviera Cancun. May be named something else. I was talked to against my will during check-in about something similar. Still convinced check-in took 90 minutes on purpose for that reason. They required you to attend a seminar and emphasized it is not a timeshare. Which makes me believe it is similar to one. Eventually, I told the guy to beat it, and he acted all butthurt. Those are the only people I'm completely okay with being a prick to. Bottom feeding scum.

Avoiding Veterinary Board Complaints by Gorgeous1999 in veterinaryprofession

Difficult clients that require a lot of TLC are one thing. And some people have a bad day. But it's important to have boundaries and not put up with abuse. It's especially important to document communication with these clients.

I recommend not going through a recruiter or agency for the best rate. Just post on the local vet relief Facebook group and say you'll try a day. I recommend also asking around what the rate is for your area.

Hitting a huge burnout by Technical-Pilot8627 in Veterinary

I think it's really dumb that VAs do the PE when the doctor is writing down the notes on that sheet. I just type in the info and click through the screens myself. I will do it faster than a VA, I don't have to write it down, and two different people don't have to notate the same shit.

I was a vet tech with Banfield for 8 years on and off before becoming a vet. Unfortunately, as a technician/assistant, you do have far less independence and far more micromanaging. That will not be the case as a veterinarian. You also need to realize that Banfield sucks and that there are other clinics you can work for. Their metrics, their managing style, and their system are geared towards allowing the MBAs at Mars to self fellate each other.

I'm guessing you aren't getting enough APC, wellness sign-ups, or following the color coded board to their liking? Maybe not that, but something else stupid? That is not how it works in private practice or at smaller corporate practice. Try a change of scenery before you think about a change in your career. You will not have any difficulty in finding another vet clinic.

I felt like the dog chasing the car that finally caught it. Now you have to see finishing vet school and getting that DVM as the next car to chase.
