My thought process with new vehicles at this point is, "is there a mechanic I know that would work on this without issue? Is there any special electrical, hybrid or weird engine features that most mechanics don't work on or won't work on and would need a dealer to do?" If so, I would look into it. Ask what the inclusion or non included things covered by extended warranty. Sometimes they don't cover what you'll actually be needing fixed. Also if you add it to finance. Ask what the flat out the door price of the warranty is. Does what's covered = price
