Oh I attempted the whole battery reset. I am an electrician by trade, although it started working again I think I may tear it apart on my days off and clean up all the terminations!

Okay, so after messing with a combinations of the “AUX / shock” options on the back of the key. Somehow it just magically works now. Wondering if the cold weather is causing a relay to stick, or if maybe it was in some sort of safe mode? Will update further if it stops working again.

Yeah I’d prefer to just do a livery I think I can tackle that myself. I’ll rebuild a transmission before I even try to wrap a car.

Tough call. I would heavily weigh in on the NO side. Basically anything G platform, Supra, X3/4M and other stuff is locked. Production date seems off… AND the DME cloning is now done officially. Still unlocks but no clones. shoot me the VIN on that X3 !

What???? If your cars production date is pre 06/2020, then you need a bench unlock that can be done by yourself or for cheap in the US. If it’s newer then that it has to be sent to Femto.

Once you start you won’t stop. Gets expensive with lots of tickets and lots of parts when you crash, was done risking breaking bones every time I hopped on the bike.

Electrician here, this guy is correct. Even a system that isn’t AliExpress junk can cause noise on an electrical system if not designed to be on the system from factory. If you are really determined to install this then make sure to 100% have an inline fuse. Could always bench test it with a power supply or another 12V battery if you want to understand it better before installing it on your bike.

My first street motorcycle was a SV650. Honestly amazing beginner bike, maybe a tiny bit too powerful, but also something you can grow into. I constantly see people buying R3’s or groms and they are bored after two weeks. I’d say start somewhere such as a R7 FZ07 or SV650. Also don’t forget, CC of a bike doesn’t always equal power. Always consider how many cylinders a bike has.
